The annual update for calendar year 2003 was published in October 2002. fool with prosperity internet gamble draw fast On July 3, 2003, CMS issued the second quarterly update for calendar year 2003. The update is effective for services provided on or after October 1, 2003. No quarterly update was needed for July 2003. This update adds three codes to the non-routine supply list and deletes one supply and one therapy code. Efforts to correct Medicare systems to make these adjustments and to recover excess payments on prior claims have been repeatedly delayed. The corrections to Medicare systems are now completed and the nationwide effort to recover any excess payment will begin soon. Recovery will be done on a gradual basis to minimize cash flow impacts.
